We are a financial media company that produces an investment publication focused on emerging markets.
Based in Farringdon, we are looking for an experienced credit controller to work as part of our administration team.
The candidate MUST possess an accounting qualification, which may include part-ACCA/Cima or bookkeeping diploma/certificate.
Responsibilities:
• Credit Control, Sales Ledger and Cash Flow Forecasting
• Run entire process from invoicing to collection and allocation of cash
• Ensure all sales invoices are accurate and issued in a timely manner
• Responsible for the credit control function ensuring all debts are paid on time
• Cash flow matching to ensure that all outstanding credits debts are paid on time
• Bank and Paypal reconciliations
• Produce and maintain regular cash flow reports
• Customer and supplier liaison
• Producing VAT information for external accountants in accordance with best practice
• Processing of internal payments and refunds
• Manage priorities and deadlines effectively
• Keeping customer records up to date
Skills:
• Highly efficient and organised
• experience of running a credit control process effectively
• Previous experience working in a corporate environment
• Previous experience in cash flow forecasting and matching
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Accurate data input
• Willingness to take on a variety of duties as required
• Ability to pick up systems and processes quickly
• Demonstrate excellent MS Excel
• Ability to create a work plan, and set and meet deadlines
Education
• A bookkeeping or accounting qualification will be required
