Ocean Barefoot is a brand, creative and digital agency, looking to recruit a Creative Director to join its growing team.
This would suit:
• an ambitious Senior Creative who has the relevant experience and is looking to step up into the role
• equally someone who is currently within a similar role but who wants to make more of a difference at a smaller agency with big ambitions, to help and have ownership in growing the agency during this exciting time.
As Creative Director you will be responsible for directing and inspiring not only the creative direction of our client brands, accounts and projects but also the agency brand and creative direction.
Taking ownership and steering the relationships with our clients, you will be the key point of contact in the development of styling, brand personality and customer experience for our clients.
Leadership and team management skills are essential, with experience in managing expectations and egos, handling budgets and driving productivity without compromising quality.
As an energetic and slightly obsessive Creative Director, you will naturally lead and inspire the agency teams to always deliver, from briefing to completion, their best work and to strive to be better at what we do every day.
Responsibilities
- Help build and grow the creative and digital teams
- Manage team members’ personal development; conduct annual reviews including performance and objectives, helping with on-going creative development
- Conduct and lead management and leadership team meetings, as well as hold regular project reviews, development workshops and creative brainstorms with project teams
- Ensure the creative quality and design output of our work is always meets the highest standards and creative philosophy set by this agency
- Lead and drive the agency to achieve greater levels of creativity and innovation, as well as improve, manage and maintain our project management and design processes
- Excite our clients with innovative, insightful and creative solutions, challenging their thinking where necessary, becoming a reliable source of creative guidance and brand guardians
- Be our clients’ key creative contact throughout all our touch points, throughout all branding, creative and digital projects
- Arranging and managing client reviews and presentations
- Review and sign off creative and design output before it to the client for approval
- Be confident in liaising with key client stakeholders, and with exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities
- Work closely with the rest of the team to help bring to life creative challenges, inform strategies, develop roadmaps and user journeys and as well as personas and profiles
- Help develop and produce creative briefs, statements of work and proposals, including planning, running and reporting creative workshops
- Drive, inspire and help evolve and deliver Ocean Barefoot creative values and vision, our value proposition and creative philosophy, as well as contribute insight and thought leadership
- Manage your own time, delegated tasks and productivity effectively
