SSP is the name behind the popular food and beverage brands you see at airports, railway stations across the country, as well as some major shopping centres.We are looking for a Creative Artworker to join our internal Creative Design team - a critical role in supporting our range of brands. This contract is to work Monday - Wednesday on a fixed term basis to cover the remainder of a maternity contract.The Role The Creative Artworker is a permanent role working closely with the Creative Service manager on resizing all artwork and basic design work of campaigns. You will be responsible for the delivery and execution of artwork for briefs and campaigns across the marketing and creative services team. In addition, this role will support of delivering and maintaining a relationship with our print company. The Creative Artworker will work across all of our portfolio of retail and food brands, looking at all point of sale material, working on creative briefs from design to print, in a busy department that will work on multiple projects at a time.You will need a strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite mainly using InDesign and great communication skills to ensure planning schedules run smoothly.The DetailsWe are looking for a Creative Artworker with a good understanding of brand and corporate guidelines. Other key skills include: * Collaborative skills to work closely with senior account managers and take direction from Creative team leader * Diverse portfolio which demonstrates proficiency in the artworking of and POS, banners, brochures, posters * 1-2 years of experience within the creative industry, preferably in an artworker role * Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure * A strong desire to learn and progress within the sector * Previous creative agency experience is desirable * Your portfolio must be eclectic and demonstrate your all-round ability to work across multiple channels with strong typography and layout.The Benefits This role is based at our Euston support centre, opposite Euston mainline station. This is a great role for a designer, looking to move in house into a multi faceted company on a part time fixed term basis. The role is working 3 days a week (Mon-Wed) on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. The salary is up to £33k pro rata depending on your experience.
