A vacancy has become available in a medium size law firm based in London Bridge for a Legal Costs Assistant. experience of Legal Costs is not required but good attention to detail and strong writing skills are a must. A strong knowledge of Excel would also be beneficial. This position would suit a graduate and has always worked well with a graduate in the past. Duties include preparation of documentation to accompany invoices to clients to provide justification for fees charged. The candidate will be required to determine the work undertaken from the files and therefore analytical skills are important. Other duties will include all other support work required by the costs team to include preparation of departmental reports. Exposure to work undertaken by a Costs Lawyer can also be provided within the team. This is an ideal opportunity for a law graduate seeking further experience within a law firm. This is a permanent position 5 days a week, hours 10.00-6pm.
