We, at Rossi Security, are continuously looking for professional and flexible Security Officers and Door Supervisors. As Rossi Security grows, there are always exciting opportunities based at our prestigious/luxury retail contracts in Central London.
As a Security Officer / Guard, you will report to the Operations Manager. You will carry out regular checks of the site in order to identify, report and deal with, any situations which could compromise security. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas are safe and secure, whilst providing a consistently high level of customer service. You will maintain professional and courteous presence on site and in the public areas, and will build and maintain co-operative working relationships with the team, Client, Customers and the Public.
Respond to alarms and report/record relevant details required to the appropriate vendor.
Report immediately any/all equipment faults to the relevant vendor, providing correct details and in a timely manner.
Maintain written communication in accordance with Assignment Instructions (A.I’s).
Escalation and reporting of any/all security breaches in accordance with A.I’s.
Adhere to the Health and Safety policies on behalf of both Rossi Security and the client.
Maintain an up to date, personal knowledge of installed security equipment and to document any changes to the operation of that equipment allowing for successful succession training to be carried out.
Establish and maintain timely and effective communication between all management levels during incidents, accident and emergency situations.
Assist in the succession training of security officers.
Escalate to appropriate parties any information received with the potential to impact operations.
Remain vigilant at all times to safeguard the security of all personnel and assets within each premise.
Deal with the clients staff in a professional, effective and customer engaging manner.
Respond to emergency situations and assist with emergency building evacuations when necessary.
Ensure that the log books for each building(s) under your care are present, completed and up to date.
Maintain clear, concise radio and telephone communication to colleagues, communications centre and management at all times.
Provide first aid if required when responding to an emergency medical situation.
Remain pro-active in your approach to the role and escalate any concerns you may have to management.
