On behalf of Wilson James, we are currently seeking a full-time professional and customer focused Security Officer to work in Holborn. (Ref) SOF204.

Wilson James are recruiting a Security Officer for a law firm based in Holborn. You will need to have a general understanding of corporate security and able to work both nights and days. Be able to manage expectations in a sensitive way and keep customer service at the forefront of everything you do.
Job requirements:
Duties include:
•To carry out security patrols throughout the allocated sites perimeter and internal buildings.
•To effectively monitor CCTV for the prevention of crime and to ensure the Health and Safety of staff and visitors.
•To actively support Health and Safety objectives by responding to all emergencies in accordance with procedure and to play an integral part in the safe evacuation of visitors, staff, and contractors minimising risk.
•To meet and greet staff and visitors, being visible and encouraging with any assistance needed.
•To monitor contractor’s adherence to safety thereby reducing the risk of accidents arising via the contractors work by checking fire routes and exits used by staff and visitors, checking the external perimeter for hazards and reporting all incidents and unusual events to the Supervisor.
•To efficiently respond to alarms as requested by the Supervisor.
•To play an integral role in any emergency including evacuation, dealing with unsocial behaviour, first aid incidents (or assistance to trained first-aiders)
•To investigate matters of concern reported by the Supervisor.
•To provide a visible preventative security presence by patrolling the site.
•To contribute toward the maintenance of a clean, welcoming environment for staff –for example, by picking up litter, reporting or dealing with spillages, etc.

An SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential for this position.
