Copywriter Needed in London

Posted: Today
Place: Central London, Greater London

Hey there, we’re Adapt, a Welocalize company, and we’re looking for a talented copywriter to join our team and help us create a range of content for our different clients. So, if you’re a seasoned writer who works great under pressure, isn’t freaked-out by deadlines and is a master of your craft, we want to hear from you!
Our ideal candidate:

Is a great writer. Really, so long as you have a track record of creating a great copy, nothing else much matters.
Maybe you went to a top uni or maybe you were educated at the university of life, we don’t really care how good you look in a mortarboard, just how well you write to a brief.
Target driven and autonomous – we don’t micromanage here, you’ll have a project and you’ll be expected to do your best on it, you must be able to motivate yourself to create consistently good work.
Is great at keeping deadlines, and even better at generating large volumes of great content.
Is keen to learn – we have lots of different clients and endless briefs to meet, you might have to write in a way you’ve never tried before, so long as you’re happy to learn and give it your best, we’re happy to give you the opportunity.
Is a team player – you’ll be joining a hard-working team who relies on each other to help get high-quality content out the door, you’ll need to be happy to get involved on whatever project you’re pulled into.
Has a thick skin – we know how protective some people can be of their writing, we’re sure you might be an incredibly talented novelist, but if you’re disheartened to see your writing edited, changed and pulled-apart in order to fit a commercial brief then perhaps this is not the role for you.
A master of tones of voice – a copywriter must be the voice of a brand, which means you should have a whole range of voices well beyond your own. You might be working on a guide to London one minute and a financial guide the next – whether it’s tips on decorating your hallway or the history of diamond cuts, you need to be able to write it in the required style.
Will wanna be the very best, like no copywriter ever was.

Nice extras to have:

A love of fashion and/or knowledge of design.
A curiosity, or willingness to learn about, a wide range of subjects.
experience in an e-commerce

If you think you’re the best person for the job, then send your CV and a 200-word description of a simple white shirt as if for use on an e-commerce site. The shirt’s specifics are up to you!
Only application with the 200-word description task will be taken into consideration.
