Season Balham is a cookshop for people who love cooking. Although we're a retailer, chefs and passionate cooks love working for us, because they get to be involved in a cooking and baking related position without having to work crazy hours, and our customers love talking to people who know their subject. We aim to do more in the way of intimate in store cooking and baking demonstrations in order to create a really special place, so the job will consist of two elements: primarily advice and sales of wonderful cookware to food lovers. Secondly, in store demonstrations, where you'll get to create things and share ideas (and a taste!) with our customers. You'll be part of a small team of chefs and food lovers.

The role
• Inspiring and giving advice to our customers on all things cookware related.
• Helping to drive the standards of the store, including displays.
• Sales assistant aspect - achieving sales targets.
• Demonstrating cookware, techniques and cooking/baking nice things.
