Mission Care is currently seeking to employ an experienced Cook to run the kitchen at one of our homes in the Bromley area. Along with the fulfilling the following duties:

Assisting with the cooking of meals and snacks for residents within the guidelines laid down by the Services Manager;
Ensuring a high standard of hygiene when preparing food for the residents;
Assisting with the daily of delivery of the food service;
Part take in the preparation of the menus;
Monitoring provisions/stock ensuring levels are maintained and reporting when necessary stock orders to the Services Manager;
Assisting with the unpacking and accurate storage of deliveries;
Ensuring the work area remains clean and complies with the relevant regulations;
Providing input into the creation of the catering assistants Rota.

To be successful the candidate must have:

An awareness of all relevant standard practices and regulations required for the safe and legal of running of the kitchen such as (HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points);
Level 3 Food Safety is preferred;
A positive team working attitude;
Previous experience working as a cook in a similar setting.
