Contracts Manager in Fast Growing Luxury Glazing Company

An opportunity has come up for a highly motivated and intelligent contracts manager in a fast growing high end supplier of timber and timber/aluminium windows, doors, bifolds, sliding doors, and frameless glazing.
Ecovia is a fast growing and popular contractor in the glazing sector, working closely with architects, main contractors and end clients to deliver an exclusive range of high performance fittings.

Our work is driven by forming strong and trusting relationships with customers, contractors and architects who value our commitment to service, product expertise and knowledge.
You will be responsible for fielding incoming calls and enquiries, managing our front-end contacts to make sure all of our clients from the smallest to the largest are served with first class communication, knowledge and product expertise. You will also be responsible for generating new opportunities and presenting the company to architects/contractors that develop new working partnerships.
You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, you will be highly motivated and professional, have a sharp eye for detail and have great interpersonal skills.
A background in construction or architecture is preferable. You will need to quickly pick up the dynamics of our business, industry niche and product range. A solid grasp of building related practicalities is essential and you will be expected to quickly develop a technical understanding of regulations.
You will be required to attend trade shows to cultivate new business. These events are an important source to secure and develop new client contacts.
If you drive and have a vehicle to visit clients it’s a bonus, but not essential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Generating enquiries and following up quotations through to order stage
Finding and developing contacts with new partners
Secure orders and meet agreed sales targets
To visit architects and generate specifications
To deal with general sales enquiries
Attend Trade shows (incl. Bank holidays and weekends with days in lieu provided)
Project manage quotations through to receipt of orders
Translate customer/client requirements into succinct information that can be acted upon by the business for undertaking the work
Facilitate meetings as required
Good data control and ability to maintain an effective customer information database on the company CRM system
Effective liaison and communication flow within the company
Brief the director in a weekly sales meetings
Chase quotations
