IRONBARK Limited have a vacancy for an experienced Construction Project Manager and Resources Co-coordinator to work on a number of prestigious office refurbishment projects in Manchester, Nottingham and Leeds.

Job summary
Overseeing all operational and commercial aspects from cradle to grave.
Management, planning, programming each project.
Ensure compliance with all aspects of H and S legislation.
Managing your team; setting objectives and developing people.
Managing effective meetings; pre-start, hand-over, sub-contract, progress, internal.
Leadership style in line with the culture and values of the business.
Build and maintain relationships with all clients and sub-contractors.
Responsibilities and Duties
Representing IRONBARK at commercial pre-start meetings on various contracts.
Weekly reporting to Directors on progress of current jobs, levels of completion, budget updates and overall progress.
Responsible for designing, implementing and managing the program of works, setting program dates in advance of activity dates and liaising with planning to allocate resources accordingly to ensure the successful completion of contracts on time and to budget.
Responsible for mobilisation of schemes in conjunction with the site support team.
Resolve day to day contractual problems on-site and anticipate potential barriers/delays to the completion of works to schedule.
In conjunction with the H and S Manager ensure safety procedures are followed by site staff and contractors, issuing instructions as necessary to correct safety violations.
Meet with clients as appropriate to discuss their requirements for quality, the schedule of works, resources and snagging.
Monitor progress on-site and review any changes made to the job specification.
Providing the Client and other third parties with regular and timely progress reports and minutes of meetings held accordingly.
Maintaining excellent administrative records and audit trails on all matters of a commercially sensitive nature.
Manage the training and personal development of all team members to meet the needs of current and future roles.
To manage teams of IRONBARK’sw Operatives/Foremen and sub-contractors to ensure productivity, safety awareness and motivation is maintained and deadlines are met.
Prepare and submit fully detailed valuations for submission to clients in accordance with individual timetables and requirements of each contract.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of three years’ experience in a Contract/Project Management role, or equivalent.
Good building pathology knowledge.
Must be computer literate with good numeracy skills.
Basic understanding of construction contracts and the ability to interpret detailed specifications/bill of quantities.
Technically proficient with the ability to interpret detailed drawings in relation to their practical applications.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
Ability to work under pressure with good delegation skills.
experience working with (or for) large main contractors advantageous.
Professional attitude with the ability to organise, multi-task and strategize.
Degree/HND in Construction Management or equivalent preferable.
Project Management: 3 years
Full driving licence
