Position: Conference Producer
Reporting to: Director, Conference Production.
Role: Responsible for the production and development of a portfolio of international finance conferences.
A young and thriving London-based media company responsible for organising around 20 international finance conferences and events a year is looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join its conference production team. This varied role provides a great opportunity for confident self-starter looking to further their career in an exciting and dynamic work environment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Conducting detailed written and phone research to develop the content for market-driven programs.
Selecting, inviting and securing high level speakers on a range of topics.
Building relationships and holding discussions to develop new topic and format ideas (both new and existing events)
Maintaining contact (phone and email) with key sponsorship clients to manage their input into programs.
Providing detailed briefs and key insight into selling points for the delegate sales and sponsorship teams.
Working closely with the marketing team to suggest new ideas and ensure the effective marketing of events.
Generating and providing marketing copy for promotional literature including conference brochures, website and other marketing materials.
Liaising with speakers, sponsors and suppliers onsite to ensure the smooth running of events (in coordination with the logistics team)
Completing comprehensive post-event reports and analysis with a view to improving and developing each event going forward.

Required skills and expertise:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a commercial environment, ideally within a B2B conference organisation.
Telephone-based research skills
experience of working in a deadline-driven environment.

High-level competency in writing strong sales-driven copy.
Ability to work as part of a close knit team.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
