compliance Monitoring Manager - Insurance

Market leading general insurer currently seek an ambitious compliance monitoring professional, to work closely with the Head of compliance, in designing a risk based monitoring framework, across multiple carriers and intermediaries within the Group.
The remit will include:
* Designing, implementing and reporting progress against a robust compliance Monitoring plan.
* Proactively managing and developing the compliance Monitoring team.
* Ensuring Monitoring visits are coordinated with other second and third line of defence functions.
* Responsible for a Monitoring team delivering high quality, risk based monitoring on a transactional and thematic basis.
The post holder will have autonomy and the ability to further enhance and embed the monitoring proposition within the UK and Europe with the prospect of assuming greater global responsibility in the medium term. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable monitoring, assurance or audit and controls experience gained within the insurance sector or via working with insurance clients within an advisory firm setting.
