We are looking for a bright, pro-active administration assistant for a role with variety and reporting to various departments. Work is varied and could include secretarial and administrative tasks.
You will have the chance to work alongside senior figures within the business and play an integral part in our day-to-day operations, making this the ideal role in which to really make your mark.
We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented person who has excellent organisational and planning skills. A collaborative approach and positive, ‘can do’ attitude are also key.
experience of working in company secretarial department is essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Company secretarial duties
Company formations
Filing various forms at Companies House
Completion and filing of Confirmation Statements and maintaining PSC Registers
Dealing with share transfers
• Managing onboarding process of new clients
Arranging clearance and engagement letters
Client liaison and follow up
• Occasionally assisting other departments with administrative tasks such as scanning and photocopying
• Filing records in paper format and through our document management software
• Dealing with HMRC for VAT registrations, deregistrations, authorisations and client details changes
• Responding to incoming telephone calls and take messages as well as covering reception when required
To be successful in this role you will:
• Be willing to take responsibility for delivering excellent client care
• Have good written and oral communication for obtaining and delivering information to clients, colleagues and third parties
• Be able to work efficiently and accurately without constant supervision
• Be able to organise workload and keep department heads updated with progress
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of accountancy practice software, Digita, would be of advantage.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.
Market salary subject to skills and experience.
Working hours: 9am to 5:30pm (full time)
