We are a local church organisation looking to significantly improve our community outreach. We are looking for applications from young or young minded, dynamic, innovative and highly motivated individuals to join our ambitious office team to take on the voluntary role of Community Outreach Coordinator. This role may suit a student, undergraduate or some one seeking to change careers.
The Community Outreach Coordinator role will hold responsibility for establishing, developing and project managing delivery of targeted community outreach initiatives locally as part of a team. The successful applicant will work alongside the church leadership team, a variety of statutory and non-statutory organisations, community groups, other religious leaders and the business sector to promote the church’s outreach programme and increase access to the services we offer. This work will be delivered through community-based outreach, one-to-one and group based interventions. You will also be required to research the services already on offer in the local community.
This role is a home-based role, which will require you to work on your own initiative and be disciplined with your time. The role requires a commitment of 10 -15 hrs a week and will initially be for a 3 month period with a view to extend for a further 6 months.
This is a voluntary role; with an honorarium offered to cover expenses.
