We are Handlr and are currently looking for a part time Communications Operator to join our small office situated just 1 minute walk from Romford railway station. We are seeking someone who is looking for a part-time role (trial period of 1 day a week), which after training, could lead to a full-time role.
As a Communications Operator, you will be responsible for hosting telephone calls and live web chats on behalf of other companies. You will be the voice and face of many different companies; trusted with representing them in a professional and friendly manner. You will accurately capture new customer leads’ data and consistently provide excellent customer service.
What we need from you:
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
● Attention to detail
● Willing to be flexible at times when working split shifts on weekdays and weekends - also at short notice
● Reliable professional and adaptable individual who is a great team player and can work independently to a high standard, even when unsupervised
● Strong computer skills including fast and accurate typing skills
Capable of taking on other business tasks
● A positive, can-do attitude!

Essential Requirements
● GCSE: Minimum grade 4 (C) in English and Maths
● A Level: Minimum 1 A Level grade C or equivalent

● Call handling experience including making regular outbound calls
● Clear verbal and written communication skills
● Excellent, natural rapport building with an ability to handle objections effectively
Desireable
● Call centre experience.
● Previous supervisory experience.
● Previous evidence of effective self-management.
● Hunger to develop, and be driven to take on other roles within the company.
