We are a well-established French institution, renowned for our macarons and pastries
but we also offer a restaurant service with a capacity of 90 seats in our iconic venue of Covent Garden.
We are looking for a Commis Waiter, to be part of our Front of House team.
The ideal candidate would:
• Have minimum of intermediate level of English
• Be motivated, positive and confident
• Know how to work under pressure
• Focused on customer experience
• experience in Catering industry
As much as we are looking for dedicated individual, we offer a fantastic work / life balance with only straight shifts of 8 hours (+1 hour lunch/dinner break).
Basic salary is 16K / year + tips.
As a commis waiter, your duties will be:
• To prepare the mise en place of the hot beverage area.
• To polish all glasses ready on time for service
• To maintain the cleanliness of your working areas at all times
• To learn and perform coffee service according to the restaurant standard.
• To promptly and accurately deliver food and beverages throughout the restaurant and bar.
• To perform cleaning duties or any other tasks as instructed by a manager
• To collect used dishes and glasses back to washing area.
We have plenty of opportunity to grow inside one of our 5 branches in London. We had several examples of Commis waiter being promoted to Waiter. Some of them are even supervisor or manager today! We love to help our employee to grow when they show the right attitude.
