About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Commis Waiter to join the restaurant team here at Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel. (Immediate Start)

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
•To have a good knowledge of the menu and styles of service.
•To be fully conversant with the table lay-up and mise-en-place prior to, during and after service.
•To actively assist the Senior Waiter in the service of food, beverage and tobacco.
•To promote a good team spirit and good relationship within the restaurant and kitchen brigades.
•To inform supervisors of all guest comments and requirements that cannot be resolved immediately.
•To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform / attire, name badge, maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.
•To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
•To serve guests requirements to their satisfaction following the Jumeirah standards, under supervision of the Waiter.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:

•Previous experience in a similar role
•Excellent level of English
•Be friendly, approachable and professional.
•A passion for customer service
