Caesars Entertainment UK is looking to recruit a customer-service focused Commis Chef to join Playboy Club London, a well-established Members Club and Casino in the heart of Mayfair. Commis Chef job purpose:
To prepare and produce food to the highest standard in a prompt and timely manner while following the specifications given by Senior Kitchen staff. Constantly working with customer service and food hygiene at the forefront of your mind.

Main duties of a Commis Chef:
• To prepare and produce food to the highest standard and specifications given by Senior Kitchen team
• To ensure your area has a supply of stocks and stores according to menu requirements and reporting any shortages
• Prepare mise en place under Chef de Partie's instructions
• Correctly rotating stock according to FIFO policy and to suitability store cooked and uncooked produce
• To be stay organised and to keep your working section clean and tidy at all time
• To adhere strictly to the food hygiene and health and safety regulations
• To ensure that all mis en place is kept tidy, fresh and properly stocked as required
• To be fully flexible to prepare food in alternating sections throughout the kitchen to the highest standard, as required by senior kitchen team
• To report any fault of equipment immediately to Chef or Sous Chef
• To ensure you maintain and reflect the brand values at all times
Essential skills:
• Pro-active attitude with the ability to work unsupervised
• experience working in a commercial kitchen
• Passionate about food and cuisine
• High level of flexibility with the role and working hours
• Good communication and rapport building skills
• Organised and methodical
• Upbeat and positive attitude
Desirable skills:
• Professional qualification in Food Safety and/or culinary
