An opportunity has arisen to join an award winning independent, family-run coffee house in Central London. Bloomsbury Coffee House serves homemade, seasonal food in a daily-changing menu, extensive brunches and wonderful cakes.
This role involves a variety of food preparation, service and a certain level of autonomy as well as a dedication to working as a coherent team. You will join a kitchen team of two other Commis/CdP under a head chef who share duties equally, from food preparation, baking, cooking breakfasts to order and cleaning.
There is to a real opportunity here for you to Hone your skills and get creative, experimenting with new dishes, ideas and really participate in the kitchen team vibe. You must also be confident in preparation of basic dishes and have a Basic Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate.
We are open during the week for breakfast lunch and dinner and brunch only at the weekends. No evening work involved, but you will be expected to work at least one day in a weekend.
