Commis Chef – Rick Stein Barnes
Are you looking for the opportunity to progress your career as a Commis Chef? If so we'd love to hear from you! We're looking for a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at Rick Stein Barnes.
As Commis Chef you'll share our passion for great food and you'll play a key role in supporting the kitchen team with food preparation using fresh, quality ingredients. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and we will give you all of the training and guidance that you'll need.
At Rick Stein Barnes guests can enjoy some of Rick Stein’s most iconic dishes such as the Dover sole a la Meunière and salt and pepper prawns as well as a selection of new dishes including stifado, a rabbit stew inspired by Rick’s travels to Greece, with caramelised onions, red wine, Cinnamon and currants.

Your responsibilities as a Commis Chef:
Preparing food and working with quality ingredients.
Developing your understanding of the food being served by taking part in tastings.
Learning about stock rotation and rotating stock as required.
Working effectively with a team of chefs.
Working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to monitor stock levels.
Continually pushing to improve your knowledge and skills.
