TRADE is an award-winning independent café and sandwich bar. We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and capable commis chef to work alongside our head chef. We have developed a strong reputation for high quality, ethically sourced café food and we have a strong and loyal customer base. We are a small, friendly team with an informal service and a professional work ethic.
The successful candidate will have had some previous experience working in a kitchen and will have an understanding of food hygiene rules. They will also be very enthusiastic about helping to create unique, delicious food from scratch. Our most popular baked items are our salted caramel brownies, our carrot cake and our Maple-bacon muffins.
In addition to assisting with baking you will help the head chef to produce seasonal salads and help to create our sandwich fillings and deli meats.
