Forge are working with a fantastic contract caterer to recruit a Commis Chef for a high profile site in Canary Wharf.
The site offers a plated bistro style service to the 1400 people on site. The clientele is from a diverse background across Europe and are very knowledgeable and passionate about their food hence the quality of the produce is excellent.
The role is predominantly focused on the staff restaurant with a small hospitality offer.
The Commis Chef will support the team of 9 in the kitchen across all areas.
We want to hear from Commis Chefs or apprentices looking for a challenging role in a high volume environment. Commis Chefs should have basic cookery skills but above all a hunger to learn as much as possible to develop themselves and build a solid foundation for their career as a chef.
Salary: up to £20k
Core Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm
