The role
* Assisting in developing commercial management processes designed to minimise risk and maximize performance
* Completing reviews of commercial bids
* Assisting in finalising conditions of contract for new work
* Ensure accurate and timely commercial information is provided
* Provide operational support for complex negotiations and dispute/claim resolutions
* Prepare and or provide advice on the preparation of variations to contract
* Ensure targets and deadlines are adhered to
* Monitor and maintain commercial team performance
* Liaising with internal and external solicitors as needed
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor
* Relevant Commercial Manager and QS qualifications
* Must provide 2 up to date references of previous work
Personal characteristics
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong management, influential and negotiation skills
* Ability to problem solve
