Commercial Brand ManagerSSP are recruiting for a Commercial Brand Manager to create and deliver the commercial plan for our Pumpkin stores across the UK. The Commercial Brand Manager will be expected to use a variety of techniques to drive like-for-like sales growth, such as range improvement, optimisation of price and promotion, upselling and maximisation of the use of space, and will drive category performance as well as the overall brand performance.The Role This is a true retail Commercial Brand Manager role - you'll be involved in all commercial planning, from creation to presentation of plans to senior stakeholders including UK and Global CEO to the delivery of activity succesfully to our Operations teams. Success in this role is highly dependent on an effective relationship with the operational teams so that commercial initiatives can be designed with a good understanding of operational processes (including procurement and supply chain) and the impact on front line activity, and in order to support the teams on compliance.Key Tasks * Commercial plan - support the Head of Commercial to create the commercial plan for each of the specified brand or brands * Analytics - ensure that every initiative is modelled on a product by product / unit by unit basis and forecast outcomes. * Sign off - submit proposed sales and gross margin improvement activities to weekly trade / monthly commercial forum meetings for approval * Preparation of marketing briefs to access marketing services internally * Review - report results at weekly trade and monthly commercial forum meetings. Assess whether forecast has been achieved and EBITDA can be banked. * Roll out - if successful, roll out and look for optimisation opportunities either in other brands or in other product categories where the same principles can be applied * New openings - manage the commercial set up for new openings including range, pricing and POS * Monitor competitor and brand partner activity The Benefits Benefits include: salary based on experience, health insurance, pension, life insurance, 25 days holiday and a range of high street discounts.
