An exciting opportunity has arisen for an E-Commerce Copywriter to join a dynamic and fast growing online business based in Clapham, London retailing sports, fitness, healthcare and medical products to customers in the UK and Europe. Founded in 2008, we pride ourselves in providing high quality and innovative healthcare products combined with excellent service. Our customers include hospitals, sports clubs, physiotherapists, athletes and councils.
You will be part of a team of copywriters working across a number of websites including our new sports and fitness site. You will be producing accurate and informative product descriptions, blogs and product guides designed to attract the customer and ensure they have all of the key information needed to make their purchase and return to shop with us in future.

The successful candidate will:
• Be able to successfully work to targets set by senior management.
• Be self-motivated and capable of completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Be able to use your own initiative.
As an E-Commerce Copywriter your key responsibilities will be to:
• Add products to the website with comprehensive descriptions as quickly and accurately as possible.
• Liaise with suppliers to gather product data, images and prices
• Collate all product information, data and specifications provided by manufacturers and distributors
• Ensure that product titles are accurate and descriptive
• Write and/or edit product descriptions and product information to ensure that it is accurate and reads well.
• Optimise product descriptions for search engines (SEO) – full training provided.
• Resize product images (software and full training provided).
• Calculate retail prices from trade prices to achieve an acceptable profit margin.
The ideal E-Commerce Copywriter will have the following skills and experiences:
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be able to write clearly and accurately in English.
• Must have a very good eye for detail.
• Must have an excellent command of punctuation and grammar.
• Must be able to self motivate to add products to the website accurately and at pace.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have good computer skills.
• Must have the ability to focus on tasks exclusively.
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
The working hours of this role are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 paid working hours per week).
In return you will receive a salary of £20,000 per annum.
