Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Collections Analytics Manager to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum.
Peabody and Family Mosaic have merged, creating a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. Our combined scale and strong focus on London will uniquely position us to revolutionise housing delivery and redefine best practice – and you will be central to making it happen.
The Collections Team Strategy Statement makes a clear strategic reference to the need to use our data much more effectively in identifying a range of different collection strategies.
Working across all tenure portfolios and in collaboration with numerous stakeholders and third parties, the Collections Analytics Manager is responsible for using and analysing our data to develop, implement and manage all collections strategies for customers who are in debt - reducing arrears and getting our customers out of debt as quickly as possible; helping them stay out of debt. This will increase the profitability of the business and drive a culture where customers are treated fairly and are properly informed.
Knowledge/experience/skills required by the Collections Analytics Manager:
- Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team.
- To have an excellent understanding of the importance of data quality and integrity so that you can act as a passionate and credible advocate of the effective use of Data Analytics in Collections.
- Working knowledge of modern Collection IT systems and experience in influencing how these can be made more effective or efficient.
- Understanding of applicable regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- Track record of delivering change in credit and/or collections.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
- To ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organisation.
- A commitment to continuing professional development.
Qualifications required by the Collections Analytics Manager:
Essential
- Educated to degree level or above in a numerical discipline.
Desirable
- Charted Institute of Credit Management (CICM) qualification or evidence of working towards it.
