Coffee House Manager Wanted in London

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and entrepreneurial Cafe Manager to run our Thackeray Coffee House.
The cafe, located by the Charter House Museum, sits in one of the prettiest squares in Central London. Situated in the former drawing room of a Georgian townhouse, the cafe's recent renovation features a beautiful contemporary finish with subtle shades of Georgian grey. All food is prepared by the in-house team who also cater for the Brothers of the Charter House, and even the coffee is sourced, roasted and crafted in the heart of East London.
The Coffee House Manager role is twofold.
• He/She is responsible for running the Thackeray Coffee House , leading the small team of Baristas, managing day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards and conditions, and fostering a positive environment, which provides consistent fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a positive experience for both our customers and team members.
• He/She will drive the success of the Coffee House. It involves reviewing sales performance regularly, agreeing targets for improvements and identifying strategies for retaining and attracting new customers and building sales and profitability, taking into consideration our location and how to market the Coffee House in such a diverse cultural environment.
We are looking for the following in our new Manager:
experience:
• 3 years' experience as a Cafe manager
• People Management
• Customer service within the hospitality environment, dealing directly with members of the public
• Cash handling and budgeting/forecasting
• Good communication/interpersonal skills
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Barista trained
• Basic knowledge of food preparation
• Food Hygiene regulations
• Strong Excel skills
Attitude and disposition:
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial skills gained in a café environment
• Cultural awareness and ability to apply this to drive success of the cafe
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Ability to inspire and motivate the team
• Able to work well in a busy environment and keep calm under pressure
• Passionate about food and customer service
• High standards and quality driven
