Salary from £8.00 plus service per hour, up to 36 hours per week.
Since January 2011, rhubarb have been at the Royal Albert Hall providing all food and drink at one of the world's most iconic venues. The Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 6 dining spaces, including: Verdi Italian Kitchen, Coda Restaurant, Elgar Bar and Grill, Cloudy Bay Seafood Bar, Berry Brothers Wine Bar, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and offers seated dinners for up to 2000 guests on a special raised floor in the auditorium.
There is now an exciting opportunity to join the ever-growing, dynamic team at the Royal Albert Hall and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.
We are currently looking for cocktail bartenders and hostess to work in Berry Bros. And Rudd No. 3 Bar, a lively yet elegant and sophisticated bar from Britain's oldest wine and spirit merchant. Serving sliders, sandwiches and sharing platters, with an emphasis on aged cocktails and fantastic wines.
Job role
- Prepare cocktail orders and wine orders.
- Clean bars and work areas.
- Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and Bitters, to prepare AMAZING cocktails and other drinks.
- Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar.
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
- Demonstrate an in depth knowledge of all beverages, menu items which will enable you to answer customer queries with confidence.
Candidate profile
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English.
- Previous cocktail and bar experience
- Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guest's needs and requirements.
- Knowledge of Classic cocktails and Wines.
- Immaculate grooming standards.
- Must be attentive, charismatic, knowledgeable and passionate about spirits, wines and cocktails.
- Previous cocktail and bar experience
