Bar Manager Derren King and his team of mixologists create new botanical taste sensations by adding handpicked tonics to lesser known spirits. Choices include Nikka Coffey Grain whiskey with roasted coffee beans, chilli, vanilla Bitters and 1724 Tonic or grappa infused with pineapple and nectarine, served over ice with apricot brandy, Sancerre wine, soda water and lemon zest. As a Cocktail Bar Tender you will demonstrate a flexible and adaptive hands-on approach in order to provide an exceptional drinks experience within our bars and deliver a consistently high standard of personalised service to our guests. Providing fine, yet unobtrusive service is an art and as a member of a talented team of bar tenders you will be responsible for guiding our journey of discovery, introducing them to our range of spirits infused with botanical flavours. Passion, knowledge of the latest trends in the London Bar scene and confidence are required trademarks for this position to successfully master the elegant delivery of our products and services.
You’ll need to be passionate about the art of cocktail making, with a deep appreciation of beverage styles, personalities and tones giving you the confidence to create innovative blends to complement our guests’ preferences and to train, develop and maintain a knowledgeable team skilled in all aspects of mixology and service delivery.
Your profile
• A natural elegance and passion for providing a luxurious level of service that is personalised, confident and calm
• An extensive background in a similar role, ideally gained within a brasserie in a luxury hotel, high end bar, private members club, or other luxury hospitality environment.
• You will be confident ‘Mixologist’ with a proven knowledge of quality spirits, well versed in both classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Your communication skills will be exceptional with the confidence to build strong working relationships and connect with guests visiting us from all over the world - fluent level of spoken English is essential and another language is advantageous
• Immaculate personal grooming
• Flexible to work mornings, evenings and weekends
