Clerical Support for Property Department

General Purpose
To provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the property department or office.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• Assist in chasing rent arrears
• Liaise with utility companies in updating records
• Ensure renewal of service contracts are carried out effectively
• Compile and maintain an Insurance database
• Assist in insurance claims
• Maintain a register for Gas Checks, EPC’s and electrical checks and ensure timely renewals
• Liaising with tenants and other related clients/contractors
• taking and distributing messages
• organizing and scheduling appointments
• handling inquiries and incoming work requests
• reviewing files and records to answer requests for information
• maintaining filing systems
• sending emails
• checking and entering data
• updating and maintaining databases
Education and experience
• knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office
• proficient in use of email and internet
• good numeracy skills
• accurate keyboard skills
• knowledge of administrative procedures
• knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• knowledge of domestic property related issues

Working hours
21 Hours per Week
Salary
Up to £20K, dependent on experience and competences.
