Cleaning Supervisor - London
We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee some of the Interr cleaning teams at a number of client premises in the Central and Greater London area. We specialize in the licensed leisure, retail and corporate sectors.
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be issued with a daily task list which will involve visiting one or more of our clients’ sites, supervising or cleaning as required and enforcing the Interr cleaning standards and expectations with the teams, ensuring time sheets are completed to reflect hours worked, resolving minor team disputes promptly, conducting stock checks, producing daily written reports for the Operations Manager and any other tasks as required.
The successful candidate will have:
• experience in the contract cleaning industry at a Supervisory level
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Spanish would be preferred
• A keen eye for detail, enforcing high standards of work and meeting deadlines
• The ability to follow instructions and produce daily written reports for Operations
• Patience and understanding of other cultures important
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, be reliable and honest in all dealings
• The ability to work independently but also organise, motivate and encourage team members
• A clean full driving licence would be preferred
• experience with the use of contract cleaning machinery would be very useful.
• BICSc trained individuals will be looked upon favourably
The hours of work need to flexible and often reactive, but due to the changing needs of our clients, it may involve weekend work and early starts beginning as early as 4:00am and late finishes.
Salary: £20,000
Job: Full time, permanent
Holiday entitlement: paid 5.6 weeks per annum
