We are looking for a school working supervisor and 2 cleaners.
The working Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of 2 cleaning operatives ensuring that our customer expectations are met or exceeded as well as to maintain some of the areas. The 2 cleaning operatives will be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the school.
Working Hours: 3.00 to 7.00 pm Monday to Friday
Holidays: 28 days pro-rata of 42 contractual weeks
Start date: TBA
Candidates should have:
·Good verbal and writing communication skills
·Organisational and time management skills
·A good understanding of the cleaning industry
·An ability to prioritise workload and solve problems
·Customer focus
· Supervision experience (Working supervisor only)
· Enhanced DBS (or/and available documentation to obtain it)
Main Responsibilities for the working supervisor
·Ensure cleaning staff carry out their duties to the required standards
·In conjunction with the Area Manager achieve fair distribution of duties, which may include redeploying cleaning operatives where necessary
·Monitor and complete accurate registration of attendances and the rescheduling of cleaning staff to cover absences
·Ensure a timely stock re-ordering process is in place
·Promote Health and Safety within the team and raise awareness
·Ensure the time and attendance is used by the cleaning operatives on site
·Work in line with the expected behaviours as outlined at Zing
Main Responsibilities for the cleaning operatives:
·Record working hours on site
·Follow the supervisor instructions
·Clean and maintain the cleaning services at the required standards
·Report problems to the area manager/supervisor
