Cleaner - Part-time £15 per hour (3 days a week) - PERMANENT ROLE
Job title: Cleaner
Reports to: Head of Treatment
Terms : Part-time - 3 days a week (likely to increase after probation)
Salary : £15 per hour
Location: Oxford Circus - 25 Harley Street
This role is subject to a 2 weeks trial period, on which you will be paid £15 per hour.
Requirements: Must have previous experience in working at high-end places as this is role that demands attention to detail and passion for cleaning.

Twenty-five Harley Street is a day clinic for women. Our philosophy is to provide a uniquely enriching approach to health care. We have created a new clinic for women to provide perfectly integrated care and treatment in the areas of gynaecology, aesthetics, dermatology and bone health. In addition, there are experts on hand to help with emotional well-being and nutrition. Twenty-five Harley Street day clinic also offers a General Practitioner service open to individuals and families.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced House Keeper to clean and manage 6 residential flats in our clinic at the heart of Marylebone. You will be undertaking the usual house keeping and laundry duties offering high-end results with an eye for detail and perfectionism. Occasionally you will be asked to run errands.You will be required to contribute to guest's comfort and expectations by providing a seamless service, cleaning and tidying of all the bedrooms and any public areas.
You must ensure everything is spotless and up to a high-standard this is a luxury clinic and we must provide the highest service and facilities to our clients. You must have an eye for detail and passion for cleaning and organising.
This role classifies a self-employed role and so you are required to provide your own insurance and do your own taxes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is not an exhaustive list of duties but an overview of the work required. Specific job responsibilities
- Clean mattresses (inspect and turn mattresses regularly), beds and change linens as required
- Ensure all the linen is raised for laundry and dry-cleaning services
- Sort, fold and put away clean laundry
- Tidy up the rooms
- Wash windows and glass surfaces
- Vacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings
- Clean, sanitize and polish floors, equipment and furniture according to infection-control policies
- Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
- Sanitize wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen according to agreed hygiene standards
- Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms
- Must ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
-Controlling and managing your work environment
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
- Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements
- Monitor adequate stock of cleaning supplies
- To organise and set up on-going deep clean schedules.
- To review and act on customer feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility. This to include - customer complaints and compliments.
- To review and act on Customer Service Reports relevant to your areas of responsibility to achieve positive and consistent results.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage to the clinic’s property or safety hazards
- Follow all company safety and security procedures
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND experience
Essential
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Must be able to provide own insurance
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
• Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
• Ability to be discrete and maintain high levels of confidentiality
• Attention to detail: ensure everything is done to a high-standard as this is a luxury clinic and we must provide the best to our clients
• Team working skills
• The ability to take the initiative
• Good physical resilience
• You must have an eye for detail and passion for cleaning and organising.
• Able to work unsupervised and is reliable
• Able to maintain a professional manner at all times
• Displays integrity and honesty
• Able to follow and adhere to standard policies and procedures
Desirable
• Flexibility in working hour
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Maintains a positive attitude and is reliable
