Spaghetti Maths are looking for bright, engaging and creative people over the age of 18 to present our after-school maths clubs to primary school children around West London.
Each week you will run a creative session that has been designed, planned and provided by Spaghetti Maths. After-school clubs normally run for 1 hour a week for 6 weeks. You will need to commit to all 6 weeks.
You MUST enjoy working with children and be comfortable with basic maths, although full training will be given.
Applicants must be available between 2:30pm and 5pm (Monday – Friday) at least twice a week and be willing to travel to schools around West London.
This is an extremely rewarding job, which demands high levels of professionalism and self motivation.
Criteria for applicants:
-enjoy working with children
-have previous experience working with children : 1 year
-have an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service, formerly Criminal Records Bureau) certificate, or we can arrange for you to get one (please note that this does have to be self-funded)
-Punctual
-Well organised
-100% reliable!
-local to West London
-able to travel around West London easily (a car would be desirable)
-happy in working flexible hours
Salary: £15-£25 per session
