This is a temporary position (maternity cover) with the potential of becoming permanent. From the end of February / beginning of March 2022 to January 2022

Childville is a home based childminding setting and we look after 9 children per day.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Childminding assistant or an already registered Childminder would be ideal.

Your responsibility would be to provide a safe and secure environment for children whilst educating them and making sure they reach their full potential.

The hours are 8:00- 18:30 Monday to Friday. However, I would consider someone who is interested in working part time (e.g. 3 days a week or mornings only). When applying, please state the days/ hours you are interested in working.

*experience of looking after young children within an early years setting is a necessity. experience working as a Childminder/ Childminder assistant would be ideal.

Candidates with no such experience will not be considered.

*Knowledge of children's development and the EYFS.

*Ability to complete children’s daily diaries, track their development and plan activities for their individual needs.

*DBS checked (updated service is preferred)

*Good level of English both spoken and written.

*Good communication skills and able to work within a team.

This position demands a lot of enthusiasm and energy. It's a busy but lovely place to be.

Job Type: Full-time / Temporary

Salary: 20-23k a year depending on experience and qualifications.
