We are a small childcare setting and are currently looking for a part-time assistant to start in February. The ideal candidate would:
Have experience working with children
Be proactive and creative
Have the ability to form relationships with children.
Have a patient and caring nature
Have knowledge of Spanish; this is a semi- bilingual setting, therefore it would be an advantage but it is not necessary however a good level of English is compulsory.
Have checkable references.
The main responsibilities are:
Helping with meal times (breakfast, lunch and supper)
Helping to organise the children for the morning activity; we regularly go out to playgroups, music / dance classes etc.
Supervising and engaging in play with children in accordance with the EYFS.
Supporting children in their personal care.
A DBS (police check) and Pediatric First Aid certificate are a requirement in order to work with children. However, if you do not have these, we can arrange and pay for them once you begin working.
The post would be ideal for someone thinking of starting a career in the childcare sector and wishing to improve their CV or obtain more experience.
