At Laffa we serve up Street Food inspired by the cooking of the Middle East, warm fluffy pitas stuffed with fresh salads, homemade sauces and marinated and grilled meat and vegetables, as well as some killer sides like our halloumi fries. We are looking for chefs to join the Laffa team for a month long street food residency in Street Feast's newest spot "Giant Robot" in Canary Wharf from 27th November until 23rd December. We have a 'showcase' spot and there is potential for more work after Christmas if successful.
Applicants should be confident running a section, preparing salads, cooking meat on the grill and using fryers.
The role will involve preparing food and cooking during service, as well as maintaining a clean kitchen, keeping temperature records, basic stock management and ordering.
Expected weekly hours between 38 - 45 hours, with Sunday and Monday off each week.
