Caboose is hiring!
We're looking to take on a confident, Smiley and hardworking individual, who will ultimately be involved in every aspect of either our small street-restaurant, pub kitchens or both.
This is an excellent position for someone looking to get into a thriving and expanding restaurant business at ground level! We expect to open more sites this year and senior roles WILL be available to the right people. Pay commensurate.
We are based in Shoreditch (E1), Dalston/Stoke Newington (E8) and Highgate (N6).
PAY: BASED ON COMMITMENT AND experience!
You will be heavily involved in the kitchen (following our recipes but also having the discretion to suggest new additions to the menu) but will also help host and waiter our supper club style evenings we have in the cabin every night, becoming a major part of our growing business.
The successful candidate(s) will be involved in the following:
- Following all our recipes.
- Preparation of sauces and other condiments.
- Preparation of food for the days service.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Serving our street-food menu out of the Hatch during the day to our loyal customers at our railway cabin in East London.
- Working our pub kitchens if this suits you better.
- Just generally being an amazing human.
We feel it would be an incredible opportunity for a budding chef or foodie looking to get his/her foot in the door. We are looking for full-time candidates but part-time work is also available!
Hours are flexible and pay is very competitive. We are especially looking for people who are FLUENT and CONFIDENT in spoken English as you may be customer facing sometimes (although we have roles which are less customer facing as well!)
