Black Roe in the heart of Mayfair, brings the finest Pacific Rim cuisine. The intimate restaurant opened by Kurt Zdesar owner of the successful Chotto Matte in Soho.

The 60 seat restaurant, feature Moody grey walls and distressed luxury touches such as worn wood and leather.

Black Roe's crowning glory is Poke Bar at the front of the restaurant, where an expert chef serves up raw fish with a Pacific slant alongside other fresh seafood and oysters. Centre stage takes Poke, a Hawaiian marinated raw fish dish with fresh flavours.

The Grill serves sustainable meats cooked on a Kiawe wood grill. Cocktails and a wide selection of wines by the glass are also served at the relaxed bar.

Downstairs feature is a large chef's table for up to 20 guests that leads into the centre of the open kitchen and is lined by tanks filled with the freshest live seafood.

COMMIS CHEF (Apprenticeship available +£18k)
Requirements:
- You will have experience in a fast paced kitchen.
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Have the right to work Full time within the UK.
- Positive and Professional attitude
- Dedicated to personal development, looking to progress in career.

Requirements:
-Min 2-3 years experience in kitchen and 2 years within role.
-NVQ Level 2 in Pastry
-Plated dessert experience and general pastry knowledge and garnish expected.
-Team leader skills
-Communication skills
-Organisation skills
- Have the right to work Full time within the UK.

-Min 3 years experience in kitchen with fish and sushi experience.
