We are a young independent catering business, we run a cafe and a wholesale bakery, we are based in East London. We specialise in plant based food and now looking for a Chef to join our team, we are happy to interview chefs at different stages of their carriers, from Head Chef to Chef de Partie. If you are an ambitious chef who likes to experiment and work on new recipes this is the perfect job for you. We are going to turn our cafe in a little restaurant in the evenings and are on the hunt for someone who can help up creating the new menu and take ownership of the project, working alongside the head chef and owner and the rest of the team.
experience with vegan food is desidetarble but not essential. Creativity is Essential. Part time and Full time positions are available.

These are some of your main duties:

The preparation and cooking of all food for daily sales.
Monitoring and guiding staff while working in the kitchen.
The preparation, cooking and delivery of food for.
Functions, private events, catering and similar.
Help with input of new menus, stocking and pricing.
Working closely with the line manager on all food related.
Issues.
To ensure food preparation areas are clean and tidy.
To ensure stock rotation and stock take are completed.
Daily and weekly ordering of all food related stock.
To ensure all equipment used is safe and clean,
Reporting any issues to the line manager.
To maintain a professional appearance while at work.
