Full-time chef position available at a local vibrant cafe/restaurant - The London Particular, in New Cross, SE14.
We are open all week serving a delicious brunch menu, with a varied Specials board, that is ever changing.
Additionally, we often provide a catering service for events/weddings etc that will sometimes require an added workload over a short space of time.
We require someone with a real passion for fresh, locally sourced produce. Exceptional punctuality and a positive attitude are essential! You’ll work in a dedicated, friendly team with a loyal customer base, many from the local community. Ideally, successful candidates should be able to work hard, yet have an upbeat demeanour about them. We find it helps contribute to a better workplace if we can all enjoy ourselves. It would also be preferable if you lived within an hours journey from SE14 as early mornings are guaranteed.
Lastly, it’d be helpful for you to know that we run things slightly different to a lot of other businesses in the Hospitality sector and maybe not what you’re accustomed to. The central focus is our strong team and although the individual roles within the company are clearly defined, we all work in such a close working environment, that we often find ourselves helping out across the board.
