We are seeking an innovative, resourceful Chef Recruitment Manager to join the rhubarb Recruitment Team, who will assist in creating and retaining a sustainable talent pool of talent

We are a luxury food business with over 20 years experience. We manage and run Sky Garden which houses two restaurants; Darwin Brasserie and Fenchurch, and two bars. We also cater for over 600 fabulous private events a year that take place in the UK and abroad. We run the beautiful Gallery Mess at Saatchi Gallery as well as Pilots Bar and Kitchen and the American Airlines Executive Lounges at Heathrow Airport. Alongside all of this we also proudly manage the hospitality catering for Royal Ascot Racing Club, Goodwood and the Royal Albert Hall.
We are seeking an innovative, resourceful Chef Recruitment Manager, who will assist in creating and retaining a sustainable talent pool encompassing the following tasks:
- Manage the back of house recruitment across all levels.
- Build a pool/network of qualified chefs in advance to reduce agency fees
- Develop a chef recruiting plan by employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas.
- Design, implement and measure sourcing strategies and processes that support and drive targeted and diverse candidate pipelines for current and future back of house needs
- Maintain and develop a solid chef application data base and classify the short listed screened applications to ensure easy reference and accessibility for the Hiring Manager
- Coordinate annual Graduate Fairs in consultation with the Senior Recruitment Manager
- Develop business working relationships within Universities and Colleges
- Prepare the weekly, monthly, and yearly recruitment reports.
Candidate Profile:
- Having gained solid Chef recruitment experience working within catering or hotel environment or in a recruitment agency role will be highly preferred
- Demonstrating a solid commercial understanding and knowledge of specific business areas and current labour market
- The ability to create strategic, comprehensive chef recruitment plans which include innovative candidate attraction strategies to deliver improved performance and ultimately a greater number of potential chef recruits to the business
- experience in creating and implementing projects, processes, and systems from inception to completion, prioritizing and managing multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to manage a high volume of change and deal with ambiguity
- Sense of urgency, can do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
- Be able to commute to London and the other UK locations when needed.
