Chef Manager
Introduction
This is an opportunity to become the Chef Manager leading a team at a Care home in Greenford catering for up to 75 residents in a 7 day operation
Location
Greenford, London
Summary of Role
• Cooking in a 75 bed care home
• Leading a small team and ensuring that everyone works to your high standards
• Ensuring that all the shifts are covered 7 days a week
• Ensuring that necessary paperwork is completed and kept up to date
• Ordering food and other supplies,
• Computing confidence is required to use computer ordering, payroll systems and e learning.
• Liaising with the client, clientele and care team to ensure that the expected standards are maintained
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As Chef Manager you will be responsible for
• Proactive management of catering team. Responsible for recruiting, supporting, training and people development to deliver an efficient, high quality service to Elior UK, customer and client.
• Accountable for ensuring that all aspects of the ''Elior experience'' are communicated and embedded within the team supporting the service champion as appropriate.
• Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
• Accountable for maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks and labour within budget.
• Accountable for innovative menu planning, and design of food service within specified budgets ensuring high standard of food presentation and portion/quality control.
• Accountable for creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.
• Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H and S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues.
Skills, experience and Qualifications

• City and Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry

Salary and Benefits
£24 000
