Lantana Café is an award winning Australian style café in central London serving delicious eat in and takeaway food. We currently have 3 sites with a fourth site opening in September 2022. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced chef to head our expanding takeaway business at Lantana Fitzrovia. Your role will be to create all of our delicious takeaway and catering dishes including seasonal salads changing daily, tarts, baked chicken and salmon done with in house marinades, hot dishes such as lasagne, melanzane and vegetarian ‘show stoppers’ such as Moroccan spiced cous cous stuffed Peppers, spiced aubergine and saffron yoghurt etc.
This role is Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3.30pm. No nights or weekends!
You must have at least 2 years experience in a senior chef de partie position, be extremely organised, able to work independently and above all, have a genuine love of food and seasonal cooking. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced chef looking for an autonomous role who can help us push forward with an innovative and high quality offering.
Depending on experience the position comes with a £26k salary package for 45-48 hours per week.
