Tenshi Japanese Restaurant is looking for an experienced chef for our Deliveroo 'Editions' kitchen - a takeaway only kitchen which is additional to our main restaurant. The location is next to Swiss Cottage station, Jubilee line.
You must have experience of working in a busy commercial kitchen and upholding the highest standards of hygiene, food safety and quality control. Knowledge of Japanese food is preferred. The job will involve cooking all hot food dishes on our menu, and ideally some shifts will be spent making sushi rolls - so this job would suit someone who has a medium level of sushi experience or is willing and able to be trained quickly.
compliance and record keeping are important for this role, so a responsible attitude towards these matters and a good standard of spoken English are desirable.
The starting rate during the initial one month training period is £8.50 per hour.
