We are currently seeking an experienced Head Chef at our new opening Uno Organic.
We are developing a new brand in London serving organic Italian inspired cuisine, mainly pasta.
Chef's responsibilities/requirements:
Responsible for creating healthy menu of pasta dishes (experience in fresh pasta making is essential) and salads.
Responsible for consistent high standard of food production.
Overall accountability for hygiene and health and safety within the kitchen.
Responsible for training and overlooking kitchen staff, making sure that health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Effectively managing food costs and labour costs in the kitchen.
Positive and can-do approach is essential.
Must be a team player motivating other members of the restaurant to achieve the best customer service and quality.
Complete daily and weekly stock checks.
Flexibility in menu development and adjustments.
Passionate about hygiene, exceptional customer service and high food standards.
We offer a starting salary of £25,000 per annum with a review in 3 months with a realistic increase of up to £30,000 per annum
