The Saint is currently seeking a motivated, experienced Chef de Partie/Second chef for this city based site.
Typical working hours are 40 + hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will typically work Monday to Friday day plus typically 2/3 evenings per week.
We are looking for a chef with a proven track record in producing good fresh quality food, who will support the Head Chef in running the kitchen and ensuring Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
They must have experience working in a high volume and fast paced environment.
The candidate must have sound knowledge of hygiene, Health and Safety policies. In addition the successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record in the following:
Planning and Organising
• Is always punctual and meets deadlines
• Is able to delegate tasks appropriately specifying what has to be achieved, by whom and by when
Delivering and Improving Standards
• Adheres to Company systems, procedures and processes
• Takes remedial action if Company/Brand standards are not met – does not compromise
• Ensures compliance with Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, People policies and all relevant legislation
Commercial and Business Awareness
• Demonstrates core business skills in respect of revenue generation and cost control
• Maintains an awareness of the competition and the local market place in general
• All candidates must write and speak fluent english, have a valid work visa and a national insurance number.
Salary is £8.50 per hour.
