Chef de Partie in Japanese Restaurant

We are looking for fun, excited, experienced chefs to join our fantastic team.

The Chef de partie will typically undertake some of the duties of the Kitchen Porter and, in addition, be responsible for:

Cooking food to order to customer satisfaction. Producing each of the restaurants dishes to the exact standards, including correct presentation.
Communicating effectively with kitchen colleagues and floor staff to create a positive atmosphere for colleagues and customers.
Keeping the kitchen and other areas at a high level of cleanliness, including thorough cleaning at the end of every shift.
Completing/ checking health and safety checklists on a daily basis.
Completing the stock check list. Informing the supervisor (PIC) of stock to be Topped up.
Helping to keep a clean, tidy and safe kitchen including strict adherence to the company’s food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
Participating in deep cleans as organized by the Head Chef.
Prepping food for service.
Cooking staff meals
Helping to keep the storeroom tidy
Assisting with deliveries
Other reasonable duties as requested by your supervisor.

experience/ Skills required

Good knowledge of dishes produced in the restaurant.
Ability to stand, walk and carry out physical duties for the period of your shift.
