Chef De Partie Event Catering Now to end of July

Party Ingredients Catering Services are looking for motivated Chefs to join the main production kitchen at Canary Wharf on a short term contract from now until the end of July. We cater for 25 - 30 events each week to an extremely high standard using seasonal, sustainable produce. Our ideal candidate will:
• Have basic formal kitchen training, or work experience in a professional kitchen.
• Speak fluent English.
• Have a developed interest in food.
• Enjoy high quality, high volume food production.
• Have very high personal standards and be prepared to work to our standard to ensure consistency.
• Enjoy cooking a bespoke product
• Be personally well presented.

We operate out of fantastic premises on South Quay (Canary Wharf) with a huge, light filled kitchen and great facilities. The team here are skilled, highly motivated and hardworking. We have very good front / back of house working relationships and enjoy working together to produce some spectacular events. This role will require you to participate in service out at events an average of 2 evenings per week and you should enjoy working with wonderful ingredients in a fast paced, focused production kitchen and at buffets receptions and formal and informal dinners at some of the most spectacular venues in London.
We work in the corporate and private markets and are privileged to cater at historic livery companies, art galleries, palaces and in private homes.

We operate 7 days a week, with chefs working 5 days each week (mostly Monday to Friday, occasional weekend days). We have permanent and fixed term positions available. Starting salaries will be from £11.00 per hour, for 5 days plus up to 2 evenings each week. We have a lunch hour at 13.00 daily (40-50 hours per week).

Positions available immediately with a finish date of July 22nd or 29th. A completion bonus is payable at the end of the contract, and there will be opportunities for further contracts in the autumn.
